Masi Special road bicycle (1963-Milano)
In 1963, Michael Allison was a young American cyclist,
hardened by two seasons of kermeese racing in Belgium,
went to Milan, under the famous Vigorelli velodrome,
to Faliero Masi for his custom built bike of a lifetime.
Michael has already willed this bike to Gianni Pergolizzi.
Silver finish retouched with chrome fork crown,
Reynolds 531 tubing with Fischer bracket shell and fender fittings,
with Campagnolo Record 10-speed group, 49-44 tooth chainrings,
Universal 61 centerpull brakes, Brooks B17 "narrowed cantle" saddle,
Fiamme rims, TTT Special handlebars, with Grand Prix stem "Made in Jtaly"
