It was la cupcake that finshed off the hungry cyclist.
The hotness brought a ringer: herself on a 48x13.
The winners got sleeveless champion system jerseys.
No holding so plenty of spillage;
some super-close come-from-behind upsets.
Half the crowd shoulda been racing.
The peloton was a brave dozen.
Ten men and two women: a few roller all-stars,
a few steel-nerve newbies.
Kegs of St. Pauli contributed to slow times.
Kudos to clean losers on road bikes:
the faster you spun your 53x15,
the more you lost to dope track bikes.
Only 51x14 in the mens final.
With drumming on the ceiling,
the betting was lively with $$ carrots in favorites' faces.
What jolly good cheer. "Best Ever Roller Party."
